Cipriani Ibiza is seeking talented and passionate Kitchen Staff (Chef de Partie and Commis de Cuisine) to join our team and deliver the authentic Cipriani culinary experience for the 2025 summer season in Ibiza. POSITION PURPOSE: The Kitchen Staff positions (Chef de Partie and Commis de Cuisine) are responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a high-end kitchen environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for cooking, a strong knowledge of kitchen operations, and a keen eye for detail. These roles require the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a commitment to delivering excellence on every dish. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to Cipriani's standards and recipes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak periods.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard and presented with attention to detail.
Assist in managing kitchen inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and stocks are replenished.
Work closely with the Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure it is working efficiently and safely.
Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are kept clean and hygienic at all times.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff (for Chef de Partie position).
Adapt to changing needs and demands in a dynamic kitchen environment.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Fluency in Italian or Spanish.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in high-end restaurants (Chef de Partie).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment (Commis de Cuisine).
Strong understanding of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.
A passion for food and a strong desire to create exceptional dining experiences.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly.
Capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and stretching to fulfill tasks.
Manual dexterity required to use and operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Continuous communication with colleagues and supervisors.
